At Mind & Motion, we believe true wellness begins with movement, intentional, mindful, and empowering. Founded in London and now expanding into Dubai, our mission is to transform the way people connect with their bodies, build confidence, and reclaim their energy through Reformer Pilates.

Lisa Brooker

Originally from New Zealand, Lisa began Pilates to support her full-time dance training in classical ballet and contemporary at the New Zealand School of Dance. After multiple knee surgeries ended her professional dance career, she retrained as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, later specialising in acupuncture and Pilates. Her deep understanding of anatomy, injury rehab, and dance alignment makes her a natural Pilates teacher. Lisa enjoys practising Pilates herself and helping clients with their rehabilitation.

Rachael Burke

Rachael is a fully qualified Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor who is passionate about helping people and their wellbeing. Rachael's classes focus on controlled and precise movements that have a positive impact on both the client's physical and mental health. She encourages you to listen to what your body needs and offers modifications and progressions when needed. Expect to leave the class feeling better than when you arrived.

Marina Palma

A Streatham local with over 20 years in the fitness industry, Marina began as a dancer and performer before retraining as a personal trainer, Pilates instructor, and studio manager after moving to London in 1999. Passionate and creative, she brings energy and variety to every session—no two are ever the same! Her motto is “Believing is achieving.” Marina specialises in weight loss, muscle gain, core strength, postural alignment, sport-specific training, pre/post-natal, and post-injury rehab.

Certified in Mat & Reformer Pilates, Lisa is a teacher who champions the power of Pilates to improve life through connecting the mind, body & soul. Lisa’s deep love for all things Pilates brings energy and direction to each class to engage your body and mind effectively. She believes that Pilates is for everyone and includes this ethos when she is teaching, allowing each client to participate fully to their level of fitness and flexibility.

Rachel, a professional dancer, choreographer, and STOTT-trained Pilates instructor from Yorkshire, brings creativity, energy, and a personal touch to every class. Expect engaging flows, hands-on adjustments, and a balance of sweat and stretch. Passionate about inclusivity, Rachel ensures her classes cater to all bodies and abilities, with modifications and progressions to support everyone’s individual goals.

Daisy winter-taylor

After gaining her fitness instructing qualifications in Barre, Dance Cardio and Rebounding, she then discovered the world of Pilates and fell in love instantly. Alongside performing and auditioning, she found Pilates to be the best thing to keep her flexible, strong and injury free. You can expect a mixture of spicy, full body combinations coupled with stretchy, deep release flow's. Daisy prides herself on building strong client connections and is really excited to be joining the Mind and Motion team.

After training at Stella Mann Performing Arts and the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, Thea qualified in Pilates and Barre, grounding her reformer Pilates approach in her dance background. Inspired by the aerial arts community, her teaching blends challenge with enjoyment. Thea is passionate about creating inclusive, welcoming spaces for all, regardless of gender, sexuality, or ability.

A Reformer Pilates instructor, personal trainer, and qualified nutrition coach with 7 years in the fitness industry. My classes are for anyone looking to improve mobility, flexibility, core, and full-body strength. Expect sessions that are upbeat, innovative, and challenging, whether you’re brand new or a seasoned Pilates lover. Let’s light the fire together! I can’t wait to plank, pulse, and put you through your paces. See you on the reformer!

After earning a full scholarship to SLP College in Leeds, Amy discovered her passion for Pilates through injury rehab during her professional dance training. She moved to London in 2022, gained her Reformer qualification, and has since taught in boutique studios across Central London. Amy’s classes challenge coordination, timing, and strength, always grounded in technique, form, and control. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can grow and leave feeling confident in both body and mind.

Genevieve McMullen

a born and bred Scot, is a qualified mat and reformer Pilates instructor who leads our ‘Mum and Baby Motion’ classes. She loves the uplifting energy babies bring and believes movement is her medicine. A lifelong runner and strength trainer, she finds reformer Pilates the perfect complement. Expect energising sessions with music, dynamic moves, and a focus on building strength and body awareness. Genevieve offers mindful modifications for injuries or limitations, helping you move with confidence and ease.

Gurpreet Dhaak

I’m a passionate STOTT-trained Pilates instructor with a deep love for movement and wellness. I’m drawn to Reformer Pilates for its mind-body connection, powerful benefits, and the sense of community it builds. My teaching blends contemporary, dynamic techniques with a focus on form keeping sessions fun, uplifting, and effective. I believe movement is key to both health and happiness, and I’m here to help every client feel strong, confident, and empowered, no matter their age or ability.
